Benfleet is 15 miles east of Junction 30 of the London Orbital (M25) Motorway. St. George's is in Rushbottom Lane, just into Benfleet and off the main A13 Southend-bound.

Benfleet Railway Station is 3 miles away (Main Line from London Fenchurch Street). Rayleigh Station is 3½ miles away (Line from London Liverpool Street).

New Thundersley:

The parish of New Thundersley lies on the north west side of Benfleet, bisected by the A13. It has a population of about 12,500. The church building was erected in 1964. See the Parish and Buildings section if you would like to know more.
